Our Summer Camp programmes are designed especially for International Students aged upto 18 Years and runs for the duration of 2 or 3 weeks Monday to Friday 10:00 to 17:00. Its been very popular and successful with students who wish to develop their English language skills but outside of a traditional class environment.
The Camp includes a creative English programme with a focus on vocabulary, phrasal verbs and fluency in the morning, followed by afternoons of teambuilding activities;
Weekday evenings, Saturday & Sundays students spend with their host family, where they will enjoy full immersion as we maintain exclusivity per nationality, (unless specifically arranged otherwise).
Our own children with their friends also get involved in some of the afternoon activities, so there is great opportunity to meet and interact with many more Irish and native English speaking children.
Students are divided into small groups within class sizes upto 15 children per tutor. Each group will be managed to ensure a good mix of students of different nationality, based not only on age, and language ability but on the students’ personalities where possible.

We take great care to ensure our activities can be tailored to suit the individual groups but generally include
The first session will expand the student’s vocabulary which they will use in the succeeding activities.
Design a new product e.g.an app for a phone, write a presentation explaining your product and give a sales presentation to the class.
Each group is given a situation e.g. you are a doctor in a hospital and there is a deadly virus outbreak. The group has to write a 20 minute movie scene, develop the characters, write the dialogue and act out the play to the class.
The groups will be given opposing arguments to a statement e.g. is too much social media bad for young people. The teams have to develop their arguments and then participate in a debate with the opposing team.
Each team is a member of the Tourist Board and they have to create and give a presentation about their local area or favourite holiday destination.
